Injury Update: Super Eagles Forward Ruled Out For 8 Weeks

Following the injury he sustained in the club's last match, Nigeria's Super Eagles and West Bromwich Albion striker Josh Maja has been ruled out for 8 weeks, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Maja joined the Baggies this summer after a superlative outing with the French Ligue Two side Girondin Bordeaux.

The 24-year-old sustained the injury in the second-half stoppage of their goalless draw against Bristol City on Saturday.

The club confirmed Maja is expected to go through his rehabilitation following a period of rest and may not be back in the team until November and is likely to miss 10 games in the process.
