Injury Update: Super Eagles Midfielder Back On The Field

Injured Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Kelechi Nwakali has resumed training after spending a few weeks on the sideline, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The former Golden Eaglets captain sustained the injury while representing his Spanish club SD Ponferendina in a league match.

After spending a few days in the gym for his rehabilitation, former SD Huesca finally returned to the field.

Nwakali was part of the Super Eagles team at the 2021 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon under coach Austin Eguavoen.
