Injury Update: Super Eagles Midfielder Out For Weeks

Super Eagles and SD Ponferradina midfielder, Kelechi Nwakali, has been ruled out of action for a few weeks, BSNSports.com.ng report.

Despite the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar which made many leagues tobe put on hold, the Spanish second tier football is still and in one of the league matches on Saturday Ponferradina played away to Malaga.

The Nigeria International was in action from the start of the game but was replaced in the 56th minute by Sabit due to injury.

The club has confirmed that former MVV Maastricht will be out of action for a few weeks.

Ponferradina suffered a 1-0 defeat in the game.

Nwakali was part of the Super Eagles team to the 2021 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
