For the only undefeated team in the NPFL this season, Bendel Insurance maintained their run by defeating Abudia FC 1-0 with Ismael Sarki and Imade Osarenkhoe combining in the 72nd minute to score the lone goal.

The Round of 32 games were littered round the nook and cranny of the nation, from the U. J. Esuene Stadium in Calabar, to the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos, and the Awka City Stadium in Anambra, to mention but a few centers.

Cities like Lokoja, Owerri, Abuja, and Osogbo also hosted games, as the Federation Cup on Wednesday was as eventful as it comes.

Elsewhere, Sunshine Stars leveraged on Michael Olalusi's double to surpass Standard FC 2-0, with Edel FC qualifying for the next round against Mailantarki FC following a 1-0 scoreline.

Beyond regulation time, the likes of EFCC, Plateau United, and Warri Wolves all needed the lottery of penalty shootouts to oust Akwa United, Enyimba, and Shooting Stars respectively in their centers.

In Abuja, Doma United walloped Eburuaja FC of Imo state 4-0 while Rangers International defeated Kano Pillars 2-0. Godwin Obaje scored the two goals for Rangers International.
