Insurance, Rangers, Plateau Utd Get 'Giant-Killers' Pairings

Nigeria Premier Football League leaders Bendel Insurance and other NPFL teams like Lobi Stars, Rangers, Plateau United, Sunshine Stars, Gombe United, and Doma United have been paired against 'giant-killers' in the Round of 16 of the Federation Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Competition Department of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Friday released the fixtures of the next round of the Federation Cup.

Insurance, who are unbeaten this season in all competitions will lock horns against Heartland in Akwa.

Sunshine Stars will welcome the country's anti-graft commission team, EFCC in Aba.

Shooting Stars slayers Warri Wolves will hope to extend their run when they fill out against Gombe United at the Abuja Goal Project.

Lobi Stars will battle Bendel Insurance Feeders while Plateau United who edged Enyimba via penalties will battle Ingas FC of Enugu at the Abuja Goal Project.

It will be an all-NPFL clash between Nasarawa United and Kwara United as the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium hosts the game.

All matches have been fixed for Wednesday, 24th May.

In the women's category, it will be a tough battle between Rivers Angels and Delta Queens with Aba hosting the tie, while the other NWPL teams host soft teams.
