Inter-Club Competitions: CAF Lists Nigerian Clubs For Preliminary Round, Exempt 12 Clubs

The Confederation of African Football( CAF) has released the list of clubs that will participate in this year's Champions League and Confederation Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

54 clubs from 42 member associations are listed for the Champions League and 52 clubs from 41 nations are listed for the Confederation Cup.

The football body exempted 12 clubs including 4 from Egypt from the 1st preliminary round but all the Nigerian clubs are listed to participate from scratch.

Enyimba International and Remo Stars are listed for the Champions League while Rivers United and Bendel Insurance are to compete in the Confederation Cup.

The draw for both competitions has been slated for Tuesday with the preliminary rounds to start in August and end on October 1st, 2023.
