Inter confirms withdrawal from Lookman Talks

According to Sky Sports on Monday evening, Super Eagles ace Ademola Lookman could be available for new head coach Ivan Juric as soon as Atalanta’s Serie A season opener this weekend against Pisa, BSNSports.com.ng has sourced.

Additionally, Inter, who were previously considered the favourites to sign Lookman, have officially informed Atalanta of their decision to withdraw from pursuing the Nigerian forward.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirms that in the coming days, the player’s representatives will receive a full update on the situation.

Romano suggests that while Atlético Madrid still has some interest in the former Fulham player, there are currently no ongoing negotiations between the clubs or their representatives.

As a result, Lookman will return to Atalanta. Despite publicly expressing his desire to leave the club this summer, it now appears unlikely that he will do so.
