International Friendlies: 15 Players In Camp As Super Eagles Set For Full Squad Training Wednesday

Nigeria’s senior national team, the Super Eagles, have begun assembling in Antalya, Turkey, ahead of their upcoming international friendly matches against Iran and Jordan, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
As of Tuesday night, 13 players had arrived at the team’s camp, with additional arrivals expected late in the night and into Wednesday morning. Among the early arrivals are Alex Iwobi, Paul Onuachu, Moses Simon, and Frank Onyeka, alongside other invited players.
Others are; Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Yira Sor, Philip Otele, Francis Uzoho, Adebayo Adeleye, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Bruno Onyemaechi, Emmanuel Oluwasegun, and Semi Ajayi.
Team officials also confirmed to BSN Sports that Samuel Chukwueze and Maduka Okoye were en route to camp and expected to join the squad early Wednesday morning.
The team is lodged at the Bellis Deluxe Hotel, where preparations will intensify once the full squad of 23 players is assembled by Wednesday afternoon. The Super Eagles are scheduled to hold their first training session later that day at 4:00 p.m. local time (2:00 p.m. in Nigeria).
Nigeria will take on Iran national football team on Friday, March 27, at the Antalya Stadium at 4:00 pm, before facing Jordan national football team on March 31 in their second friendly fixture at 8:00 pm.
The matches mark the Super Eagles’ first outings since securing a third-place finish at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
