International Friendly: "We Focus More On Performance Not The Result" - Waldrum

Nigeria's Super Falcons manager Randy Waldrum has stated that they are more concerned about the performance and how they played than the outcome of the match, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

Super Falcons on Saturday suffered a 4-0 defeat to the world champions United States in one of the International friendly games lined up for the team.

While reacting to the result of the game in 2 minutes video posted on Twitter, the American gaffer said the game is for World Cup preparations and they don't care about the result.

" When you play against World Champions you should expect them to create a lot of chances.

They created a lot of challenges for us, everything we do is in preparation for the World Cup and we don't care about the result but we focused more on our performance, how we play and also we look at some of our young players, especially the U20 players.

They got their first call up and they did very well because they played against the best in the World.

We hope we can improve our performance on Tuesday but the most important thing is that we focus on our young players and our performance", he said.
