After securing a narrow win against the Syli national of Guinea the Desert Foxes of Algeria coach Djamel Belmadi has promised a better team performance against Nigeria, BSNSports.com.ng report.

Despite playing at home Algeria found it extremely hard to break down the hard-fighting Guinea national team in Oran on Friday evening.

Substitute Islam Slimane netted the only goal of the game in the 87th minute to secure the victory.

While reacting to the game, Belmadi praised their opponent and promised a more binding team against the Super Eagles.

"Against Nigeria, there will be more binding because it will be players who are used to playing with each other", he told Fennec.

The match against Nigeria's Super Eagles is slated for Tuesday at the same venue.
