Defender Leon Balogun is set to miss the international friendly game against Mexico due to injury, BSNsports.com.ng understand.


The lanky defender sustained the injury while representing the Rangers in the Scottish cup final and helped the team to the title.


According to the information, former Brighton Hove Albion player sustained an inflamed left calf injury and he spoke to the team manager Jose Paseiro about his absence from the game.


Balogun is expected to team up with the team in New Jersey for Ecuador's game and should also be available for the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
