International Friendly: Cameroon Edge Super Falcons

Nigeria’s Super Falcons’ preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco suffered a minor setback on Saturday following a narrow defeat to Cameroon, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Both teams met in an international friendly aimed at sharpening their squads ahead of the continental showpiece scheduled to take place in Morocco.

The encounter, played in Yaounde, was keenly contested with both sides creating scoring opportunities in a tightly balanced affair.

However, it was the hosts who eventually prevailed, scoring a late goal to seal the victory.

The result will serve as a learning curve for the Super Falcons as they continue fine-tuning strategies ahead of the tournament.

The second friendly between both sides is slated for next weekend at the same venue.
