A few hours before the international friendly kickoff between Nigeria's Super Eagles and Mambas of Mozambique, the remained a big doubt, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Financial crisis has been rocking the camp of the Mambas since the last friendly game against Angola.

Each player in the team demanded $600 before the game and the reactions of the country's football body led to the controversy in the team camp.

An update from the team camp indicated that players are demanding the same amount of money before they can face the Super Eagles of Nigeria later on Monday.

The Mozambique Football Association is reluctant to pay the cash and the players are threatening to boycott the game.

Mozambique will be appearing in the African Cup of Nations for the first time since 2010
