International Friendly: Nigeria Set To Face Russia at Luzhniki Stadium

The Russia Football Federation has confirmed Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow as the venue for the upcoming international friendly between Russia and Nigeria, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

This high-profile encounter, agreed upon by the Russian Football Federation (RFF) and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), is aimed at reintegrating Russian football into the international scene.

The match will mark the first-ever senior-level meeting between the two nations, although they have faced off multiple times at youth levels.

In addition to Nigeria, Russia is also scheduled to play against Zambia’s Chipolopolo as part of their return to international football.
