International Friendly: Onyenezide Happy Over Super Falcons Invitation

Nigeria's Falconets star midfielder, Esther Onyenezide is still in cloud nine following her invitation to the camp of Nigeria's Super Falcons, BSNsports.com.ng report

Despite the Falconet's failure to go beyond the quarter-final of the 2022 FIFA U20 World Cup in Costa Rica, Onyenezide was able to distinguish herself by scoring three goals for Nigeria.

She was among the four players called up to the national team by the Falcons head coach Randy Waldrum to prosecute the doubleheader match against the United States.

While reacting to the call-up, the Rivers Angels player was excited and is already looking forward to her debut.

" And so it begins, my first call up to the Super Falcons. So proud and excited about this huge opportunity with the senior team. 

"Can’t wait to learn, grow and gain more experience as well as continue doing my country proud. Thank you all for your support," she said
