International Friendly: Paseiro To Take Charge, As Finidi Becomes First Assistant

Barely two weeks into the doubleheader International friendly games against Ecuador and Mexico, the newly appointed Super Eagles technical crew is being reshuffled as the new adviser is set to take charge, BSNsports.com.ng understand


The appointment of coaches announced by the Nigeria Football Federation has coach Salisu Yusuf as the first assistant but that seems to have changed with the latest development.


According to the report, Enyimba International head coach, Finidi George, has been moved up to the position of the first assistant coach while Salisu Yusuf dropped to the second assistant and will still be in charge of the Super Eagles B team.


The report further suggests that incoming Portuguese coach, Jose Paseiro, will be on hand to take of the two friendly games in the United State.


The International friendlies will be the team's first game since they lost out to the Black Stars of Ghana in the playoff round of the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifier.
