International Friendly: Ronaldo Ruled Out Of Nigeria Game

Selecao of Portugal manager Fernando Santos has confirmed that Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo will not play against Nigeria's Super Eagles on Thursday, BSNSports.com.ng reports

The former European champions opened their World Cup camp on Monday and they are scheduled to face Nigeria's Super Eagles in an international friendly at the Estádio José Alvalade, Lisbon.

Ronaldo was one of the players who reported early to camp but missed the team training on Wednesday due to a stomach bug.

The team coach Santos, confirmed after the team training that Ronaldo will not be available for the game against the former African champions.
