International Friendly: Super Eagles Invitation A Dream Come True, Says Ishaq Rafiu

Rivers United striker Ishaq Rafiu has described his invitation to the national team as a dream come true, BSNsports.com.ng gathered

The lanky forward has been a revelation in the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League season for Rivers United leading the top scorers chat.

His amazing performance earned him a call-up to the Super Eagles of Nigeria team that will face Ecuador and Mexico in an international friendly slated for the United State 

While reacting to the invitation, Rafiu was delighted and described it as a dream come true 

"Excited to be called up to the Super Eagles squad for the friendly games vs Mexico & Ecuador.

For me, this is a dream come true & a rare opportunity to wear the Nigeria colour as well.

Grateful to Rivers UnitedC management, technical crew & my teammates for their support," he said.
