International Friendly: Super Eagles Return Excites Dessers

Nigeria's Super Eagles and Feyenoord forward, Cyri Dessers, has expressed his happiness over his return to the national team, BSNsports.com.ng understand

The former Heracles attacker made his debut for the national team in the friendly against Algeria but has been blackout due to his drop in form.

Dessers has been outstanding this season for the Dutch club both in the league and in the Uefa Europa Conference League where he emerged the competition highest goal scorer.

His form earned him a recall to the Super Eagles for the upcoming matches against Mexico and Ecuador and also the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifier.

On his arrival at the team camp in the United States, he expressed joy adding that he can't wait to see Abuja fans when he returns to Nigeria for AFCON qualifier.

"Really happy to be back. Looking forward to the game. I hope to see the fans in Abuja”, he said.
