International Friendly: Super Eagles To Clash With Russia In 2025

Nigeria's Super Eagles is set to face the Russian national team according to the update from Moscow, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Russian Football has been restricted to fewer games due to the ban imposed on the country following its invasion of Ukraine.

Russian journalist Bartlomiej Banasiew wrote on his X @Babanasiewicz that Nigeria's match organiser, Jairo Pachon, has confirmed that the game will come up in 2025.

"Our representatives are working with RFU to organize a friendly match between the Nigeria national team and the Russia national team in 2025. " This match is possible", he said.

If materialised, it will be the first serious game the Russians will play since 2022, when they face Serbia and Cameroon.
