International Friendly: Super Falcons Bow To Canada

The Super Falcons of Nigeria were beaten by Canada in an international friendly played in the early hours of Saturday, BSNSports.com.ng can report.


The Falcons were able to hold their own in the first half preventing the Canadians from hitting the back of the net despite having a couple of chances to do so.


The team after playing well in the first half reverted to their old ways in the second half where they conceded two goals, the first coming from Fleming in the 51st minute and the second from Gilles in the 72nd minute.



Super Falcons were the second best throughout the game with Canada dominating in every sphere statistically. 



A total of 24 to 6 shots with 14 on target for Canada and 4 on target for Nigeria.


Possession of 60-40 percent also in favor of Canada was recorded.



The second fixture of the Women international break between both teams will come up in the early hours of Tuesday April 12, 2022 at the Starlight Stadium in Langford, Canada.
