Ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, the camp of Nigeria’s senior women’s national team, the Super Falcons, has come alive, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

A total of 11 players have already arrived in camp as preparations begin in earnest for the pre-tournament double-header international friendly against Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses.

The friendly matches form part of the team’s build-up programme toward the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), scheduled to hold in Morocco.

The technical crew is expected to use the fixtures to assess player fitness levels, test tactical variations, and integrate new call-ups into the squad.

More players are anticipated to join the camp in the coming days as the team intensifies preparations for the crucial encounters.

The Super Falcons, record holders of the continental title, will be aiming to fine-tune their squad and build momentum ahead of the championship, where they are expected to mount a strong challenge for the crown.
