The interim coach of the Super Falcons Justin Magudu has said the team must recover from the Paris Olympic Games poor performance, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 9-time African champions lost their group games in Paris and crashed out.

The team is in Lagos, preparing for the international friendly against their counterpart from Algeria and coach Madugu said the tune-up game is an opportunity for them to recover.

“We have been having useful sessions since we resumed on Monday. I am impressed with the discipline and sense of dedication of the players, and I am looking forward to a masterclass performance by the Super Falcons in both games,” Madugu told thenff.com.

“We respect the Algerians just as we respect every team we play, but the truth is that we need to bounce back strongly from the below-par outing at the Olympics and restore our team’s confidence and positive spirit.”
