International Friendly: US Attacker Pulls Out Of Clash Against Nigeria

Barely 24 hours to the first match of the double header International friendly against Nigeria's Super Falcons, the United States Women's national team will be without one of their top attackers, BSNsports.com.ng report.

A few months ago both teams agreed to engage one another in two international friendly matches as part of their readiness for the much-awaited FIFA Women's World Cup that will take place next year in Australia and New Zealand.

The United States team has opened their camp more than 2 weeks ago getting ready for the friendly against Africa's most successful women's team.

According to the report coming from the camp of the World champion, Trinity Rodman has pulled out of the team due to family reasons.

And the team's technical crew has called up Savannah DeMelo to take her position on the team.

The first game will take place in Kansas City on Saturday the 3rd while the second game is fixed for the 6th of September in Washington, D.C..
