International Friendly: Waldrum Drafts Four Falconets For Super Falcons Friendlies Against USA

Ahead of the doubleheader international friendly match against the United States Women national team, head coach of Super Falcons Randy Waldrum has invited 20 players to camp, BSNsports.com.ng reports.

Both teams are scheduled to meet in a two-leg friendly match slated for Kansas City and Washington, D.C. on the 3rd and 6th of September 2022.

The American gaffer released the list of 20 players on Wednesday and four players from the Falconets team featured prominently on the list.

Nigeria women's U20 team was praised for their gallant performance in the just concluded FIFA U20 World Cup in Costa Rica despite the team failing to go beyond the quarter-final.

Expected, team skipper Tosin Demehin led the list of the players which also had midfielder Esther Onyenezide, Deborah Abiodun and Rofiat Imuran.

The duo of Halimat Ayinde and Ngozi Okobi missed out due to visa issues while the duo of Onome Ebi and Asisat Oshoala are yet to fully recover from injury.
