International Friendly: Why Portugal Beat Nigeria 4-0 - Fernandez

Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandez has said they defeated the Super Eagles to show everyone that they are a complete team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Selecao of Portugal on Thursday walloped Nigeria 4-0 in an international friendly match played at the Estadio Jose Alvalade in Lisbon

While speaking to Manchester United media, Fernandez said the game was very complete.

"It was a very complete game," he said of the latest victory over Nigeria. 

"We were very capable of having possession of the ball, managing the game and taking advantage of our opportunities to score. 

" We also defended very well. We have a capable team, with a lot of quality, and we demonstrated that on Thursday, in an important step towards gaining confidence", he said.
