Iorfa Appreciates Benue Governor For Donating Four New Vehicles to Lobi Stars

CEO of Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi, Dominic Iorfa has showered encomiums on the Executive Governor of Benue State, His Excellency Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia for his magnanimity and total support to the State owned Football club, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The Ex International, who was full of joy at the Government House Makurdi on Wednesday where the Governor presented 4 new vehicles to the Club, said he was particularly grateful for the confidence reposed in him by the governor and the good people of Benue state to continue to steer the ship of the club despite some sponsored criticism and blackmail by some detractors of the club. 

Iorfa extended his appreciation to the Deputy Governor and Chairman of the Club, His Excellency Dr. Sam Ode, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Hon. Aondona Dajo, the Honourable Commissioner for Youth, Sports and Creativity, Rt. Hon. Terkimbi Ikyange, the Chairman of the Benue state Football Association as well as his players, officials and supporters of the club. 

The VC equally thanked members of the State Executive Council for their harmonious relationship with the Governor which attract massive development in the State saying, he was grateful for the gesture they have given to him and the players to ensure maximal performance.

"I am overwhelmed with the huge support of our Governor and the confidence he reposed upon me, that one is more than enough for me to excel despite all the odds by some detractors of the club." he said.

He however expressed optimism that the club would continue to soar higher to bring joy to the government and good people of Benue state at all times.
