Iorfa Junior Signs Contract Extension With Sheffield Wednesday

Dominic Iorfa Junior, who stars for Sheffield Wednesday FC Of England has signed contract extension until the 2026 football season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Iorfa Junior is the son of of Dominic Iorfa, the CEO of Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi.

It was gathered that the extension of his contract was informed by his sterling performances at the heart of Sheffield Wednesday's defense.

The towering defender extends his stay which began in January 2019 when he joined from Premier League Wolves.

Iorfa has since made 142 appearances in blue and white, chipping in with five goals from the back along the way.

He went on to lift our Player of the Year award for the 2019/20 season.

The 29-year-old has proven equally at home in a central defensive berth or at right back, offering valuable versatility across the rearguard.

Iorfa was part of the team that secured Championship promotion at Wembley in May 2023 and played a key role in the Owls’ dramatic second tier survival last time out.
