Isaac James Eyes Champions League Title With Remo Stars

Remo Stars forward Isaac James has revealed optimism over the chance of winning the CAF Champions League with the Ikenne based-club ahead of the preliminary round first leg clash against Ghanaian side Medema SC on Sunday.

The Delta-born forward, who was included in the 20-man squad for the important clash after he recovered from an ankle injury that made he to missed Remo Stars last two matches during the 2023 ValueJet Cup earlier this month.

While speaking in an exclusive interview with BSN Sports.com.ng, on Saturday evening ahead of the encounter, Isaac expressed that he's fully fit and ready to help the team to win.

" Yes, at one point I was out injured during the Pre season, but right now I'm 100% fit to give my qualities and also to help the team to win."

The forward who will be making his first appearance in the continent for the first time, says his target is to win the champions league.

" Yes, it's my first time in the continent, and my target is to win the champions league. I'm not limited and I know that my team is not limited as well because we have been working hard in other to prepare for this competition."

" Because, you know that we have been preparing for these day and I believe with the quality we have in the team, we can win it all. For me personally, I'm Bringing what I believe I can offer for the team to be better."

Isaac finally says that he target to score and assists in other to help the team to achieve its aim this season.

" yes, I don't actually have the goals tally I want to score this season, but my aim is to score and assist for the team to win. Of course I will try to score goals but the aim is to be a complete team player and also to help the team to win."

Remo Stars arrived Ghana on Saturday afternoon ahead of the clash against Medema SC in the CAF Champions League preliminary round first leg encounter, on Sunday, at the Cape Coast Stadium, Ghana.
