It Feels Good To Be Back From Injury, Says Remo Stars Nwaeze
Alfred Kadiri
Remo Stars' rock-solid defender, Boniface Nwaeze has resumed full training with the rest of the squad after being out for eight weeks, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Nwaeze was sidelined with a toe injury he suffered in the CAF Confederation Cup first-leg preliminary round game against ASFAR in Morocco.
The injury had him miss the Optima Energy Gold Cup pre-season tourney and other practice matches.
It was a soothing relief for Nwaeze as he joined his teammates on Thursday in a practice session at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, to the delight of the club coaches and they intensify their preparations for the new NPFL season.
Speaking after the session, "Feels good to be back actually. I've missed the game and can't wait for the new season to kick off soon."
