It Was A Privilege To Be Part Of AFCON 2023 Super Eagles Squad - Onyemaechi

Boavista of Portugal defender Bruno Onyemaechi has admitted that it was a privilege to be part of the Super Eagles team at the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian side finished as the first runners-up in the competition after losing 1-2 to the host in the final.

The left-footed defender is one of the players who failed to kick a ball throughout the tournament.

While speaking to the Punch correspondent, Onyemaechi said it was just a privilege for him.

“It was a privilege to be part of the AFCON squad and I will continue to give my best to the national team anytime I get called up so I can also make bigger tournaments like the World Cup", he said.
