Italian Serie A: Atalanta Coach Backs Lookman Over Goal Celebration

The manager of the Italian Serie A club Atalanta Gian Piero Gasperini has backed Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman over goal celebration, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former Leicester City attacker scored the opening goal in Atalanta's 2-2 draw against Udinese and he was booked for his trademark binocular celebration.

The manager said Lookman is not a player that stirs up trouble on the field of play.

" It was ( goal celebration) misinterpreted, he ( Lookman) is not a lad who stirs up trouble", he said.

The draw dropped Atalanta to the second position behind Napoli.
