Despite refusing to take the last two penalty kicks awarded to the club, Napoli boss Rudi Garcia has reiterated Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen as the club's first penalty taker, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian International has been avoiding spot-kicks awarded to the club since the offensive video was posted on the club's social media.

Napoli secured a comfortable 0-4 win against Lecce on Saturday, they were awarded a spot kick in the game and it was Politano who took the kick.

“Not today, he was not the first choice seeing as he didn’t start the game, but someone else handed it to Politano. In any case, I usually write a list so there is an order and no war over who takes a penalty.

"Here it feels like the reverse, they are in a race to hand the ball over to someone else, I think I like it better", Garcia said.

Despite not playing a penalty awarded to the club, Osimhen has scored in back-to-back games for the club.
