Italian Serie A: Gasperini Reveals Reason For Ademola Lookman's Early Substitution Against Venezi

The manager of the Italian Serie A side, Atalanta Giani Gasperini, has revealed the reason for the early substitution of Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian International was replaced by Colombia international Juan Cuadrado early in the second half against Venezia on Sunday.

The coach said Lookman was tired and needed to rest.

" He was probably tired too, then there are the games and the needs of the teams".

" It already happened to us with Como, we would have risked doing the same with Venezia today", he said.

Lookman has scored two goals in 5 matches this season.
