Italian Serie A: Lookman Bags Brace In Atalanta's Victory

Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman lived up to the billing once again as he fired a brace in Atalanta's comprehensive victory over Hella Verona, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian International, who was nominated for the African Player of the Year award, sent a warning signal to all other contenders with his performance.

Playing at home, Atalanta raced to a 3-goal lead under 15 minutes with goals from De Roon, Retegui and Ketelaere.

Lookman came into their party in the 29th minute with the 4th goal before completing his brace in the 34th minute.

Amin Sarr reduced the deficit in the 42nd minute before Retegui wrapped up the game in the second half with the 6th goal and ensured a 6-1 win for the host.
