Italian Serie A: Osimhen Ends Penalty Taboo, As Napoli Lose Again At Maradona Stadium

It was a mixed feeling for Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen who's goal counted for little in Napoli's home defeat to Fiorentina, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Italian champions have been blowing hot and cold since the start of the season and Sunday's game was another tie to forget.
Josip Brekalo put the away side ahead in the 7th minute but Osimhen was on hand to equalise while VAR overruled the goal.
Napoli was awarded a penalty in the 50th minute and it was the Nigeria International that stepped up to take it and converted it.
It was the first time Osimhen would take a penalty since the game against Bologna.
Bonaventura restored Fiorentina lead in the 63rd minute before Nico Gonzalez put the game beyond Napoli with the 3rd goal in the 93rd minute and handed the Naple-based side a 1-3 home loss.
