Italian Serie A: Super Eagles Striker Ends Goal Drought In Salernitana

Italian Serie A side Salernitana continue their not too impressive performance in the season with another home defeat to Bologna on Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

But it was relatively a good outing for the Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Simy Nwankwo.

Nwankwo returned to Salernitana this summer after having a short spell with the Serie B side Benevento last season.

Salernitana suffered 1-2 home defeat to Bologna but it was Simy who netted the only goal of the host to make the scoreline more respectable.
