Iwobi Faces Tough Task Against Chelsea As Premier League Release New Season Fixtures

Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi and his club Everton FC will have their hands full when they face Chelsea in their opening day fixtures, BSNsports.com.ng reports.

The organiser of the English Premier League released the fixtures of the 2022/2023 season and the Toffees who narrowly survived relegation last season were drawn against tough opposition.

Beating the Blues at the Goodison Park last season was one of the reason Everton under Chelsea legend Frank Lampard avoided relegation with Iwobi playing a key role for them.

Also on the same day, it will be 'Brothera At Wat' as the trio of Super Eagles players Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho and Frank Onyeka will clash when Leicester City face Brentford at the King Power stadium.

The first game of the season is scheduled for Friday, August 5th and it will be Arsenal facing Crystal Palace at the Selhurst Park.
