Iwobi Hails Arsenal After Everton Win

Super Eagles and Everton star Alex Iwobi proved he is still an Arsenal fan at heart, reports BSNSports.com.ng 

The midfielder played for the Toffees against the Gunners in the Premier League on Saturday.

Iwobi and his side emerged with an upset win, defeating Arsenal 1-0 at Goodison Park through a James Tarkowski goal.

After the game, Iwobi posted on Instagram and Twitter to thank his former club.

He showcased pictures of himself training with Arsenal in the past, along with him embracing their manager Mikel Arteta.

After Everton’s inspiring victory, Iwobi posted on social media, “Nice To See Some Old Faces, Even Better To Win!”

In addition, he wrote “Big respect!” alongside pictures of himself working out with Arsenal and hugging Arteta after Saturday’s game.

Iwobi played for Arsenal for 15 years after joining them in 2004 at the academy.
