Iwobi Returns To United States With Everton

English Premier League club, Everton have departed for the United States of America, to continue pre-season preparations, with Super Eagles playmaker, Alex Iwobi part of the traveling party, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Iwobi is returning to the United States, around one month after featuring for the national team in a friendly against Ecuador.

The Nigeria international was granted an extended vacation due to his international commitments this summer.

Everton will play two games while in the USA, starting with Iwobi’s former club Arsenal at the 70,000-capacity M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland on Saturday July 16, then Minnesota United at Allianz Field on Wednesday, July 20.

Ahead of their mouth-watering Premier League opener against Chelsea, Everton have lined up friendlies against Blackpool and Dynamo Kiev upon their return to the United Kingdom.
