Jake Paul Issues ‘Visual Warning’ To Anthony Joshua Ahead Of December Showdown
By Admin
Nigerian-born former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has received what many fans are calling a “visual warning” from social media influencer–turned–boxer Jake Paul, who has intensified his psychological campaign ahead of their highly anticipated bout scheduled for December 19 in Miami, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Paul has been leveraging his expansive social media reach in the build-up to the fight, posting a series of training videos aimed at boosting his confidence and rallying support from his massive online following. Despite Paul’s growing popularity and promotional savvy, many boxing analysts insist he stands little chance against the two-time unified heavyweight champion.
In his latest attempt to gain a mental edge, Paul released a lengthy training video showing himself in peak condition. Wearing a fitness vest and weight belt, the 28-year-old was filmed performing explosive drills—stepping on a large tyre while striking pads held by his trainer. The clip, tailored for his 28.2 million Instagram followers, underscores Paul’s public messaging that he is fully prepared to challenge the seasoned British-Nigerian fighter.
The December fight, branded Judgement Day, is predicted to generate over £140 million in revenue, with both fighters expected to earn equal shares. Joshua has described the event as a “mega show,” while Paul has continued to portray himself as a legitimate contender through relentless training updates across his platforms.
According to a report in The Mail, Paul’s workout regimen includes extensive footwork and cardio drills, weighted pull-ups, push-ups, inclined crunches, and even neck-strengthening exercises an area crucial for absorbing the type of punches Joshua is renowned for, including the knockout blow that felled former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in 2023.
The December 19 clash has stirred significant debate within the boxing world, with many seeing it as a mismatch, while others view it as an audacious test of Paul’s evolution as a professional fighter. Regardless, the online battle for psychological supremacy is already well underway.
