Jalla Tasks IMC On Use of VAR

Chairman, Task Force of Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria (PFAN) Harrison Jalla has called on the Interim Management Committee IMC) to introduce the use of Video Assistant Referees (VAR) into the league next season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Jalla hinted that the introduction of VAR into the league will improve its quality and also helps referees in making right decision which in turn lead to providing a worthy champions at the end of the season.

"The time to introduce the use VAR into the league is now." Jalla told BSN Sports.

He added, "This will help the match officials in reducing making controversial decision. It will also help Nigeria to produce a worthy and quality champions at the end of the season."

Jalla rated the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League Super 6 play-off high adding that any of the six teams at the championship are good enough to represent Nigeria at the continent.
