Jamiu Collins Claims Man Of The Match Award In Cardiff Win

The 2022/2023 English Championship continued on Saturday and it was a good outing for Nigeria's Super Eagles and Cardiff City defender Jamiu Collins, BSNsports.com.ng reports.

Collins joined the Bluebird this summer from the German Bundesliga II side Paderborn.

The Welsh side played host to the relegated Norwich City on Saturday and it ended 1-0 in their favour.

The Nigerian international was the star of the game as it was his effort that led to Romaine Sawyer scoring the only goal of the game in the 49th minute.

He was named man of the match after the game as Cardiff secured their maximum point in their opening game of the season.
