Jose Peseiro praise Golden Eaglets for winning WAFU B U17 Championship

Super Eagles manager Jose Peseiro has reacted to the Golden Eaglets winning the WAFU B U17 Championship, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria had already secured the ticket to the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations by virtue of reaching the final. But they showed hunger for the trophy against their Burkina Faso counterparts.

The hunger brought fruits for them in the end, as two goals from Abubakar Abdullahi were enough to give Nigeria the 2-1 victory in Ghana.

The victory was just the climax of a scintillating series of performances from Nduka Ugbade’s boys, as they were the only team that did not lose a game at the tournament.

Peseiro retweeted a post from the Nigerian Federation's official Twitter account and added : "Congratulations to the Golden Eaglets for their brilliant win against Burkina Faso and becoming WAFU B champions!"
