Jose Peseiro’s Super Eagles lack will to win – Mutiu Adepoju

Former Nigeria and Real Sociedad midfielder, Mutiu Adepoju has reacted to Super Eagles’ embarrassing defeat against Portugal.

The Super Eagles slumped to a 4-0 defeat against Seleção das Quinas in a pre FIFA World Cup friendly game on Thursday.

Adepoju stated the team lacked the will to win the game from the first blast of whistle.

Ronaldo missed the game, but Portugal did not miss him as Bruno Fernandes, Goncalo Ramos and Joao Mario got the goals for the World Cup bound hosts.

“The game was not exciting at all. They lacked the will to win the game from the start,” Adepoju said when quizzed about the performance of Peseiro’s Super Eagles.
