Jupiler League: Arokodare Explains Reason Behind His Offensive Goal Celebration

Nigeria and Genk attacker Tolulope Arokodare has explained the reason behind his offensive goal celebration, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Arokodare celebrated his equalizer against Anderlecht in a questionable manner and already the stakeholders in Belgium are asking the league body to sanction him.
The lanky striker revealed that he was not targeting anyone but was responding to all the negative messages he has been getting from the club's fans.
"My celebration was a reply to all the nonstop hate, insults, messages, comments, and bad wishes I got since the transfer, since my injury, and during the warm-up for the game.
"I wasn’t trying to offend or disrespect anyone with it, it was just a harmless wave celebration.
"Just to put it out there, I’m still getting hate messages. But thank you and God bless you. LOVE AND LIGHT, " he said.
Arokodare was brought in last summer from Amiens SC of France as a replacement for another Nigerian international Paul Onuachu.
