Jupiler League: Arokodare Nets 16th Goal Of The Season, Targets Super Eagles Call-Up

Genk forward Tolulope Arokodare continues to make a strong case for a Super Eagles invitation with his outstanding performances in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

While Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman remain key attacking options for Nigeria, both Cyril Dessers and Arokodare have been in top form for their respective clubs this season.

Arokodare was once again the standout performer on Friday, scoring Genk’s only goal in a hard-fought 1-1 away draw against Sporting Charleroi.

After a goalless first half, the towering striker broke the deadlock in the 71st minute.

However, Charleroi salvaged a point with a last-minute penalty converted by Daan Heymans.

With this latest strike, Arokodare has now found the net 16 times for the Limburg-based club this season.
