Despite having a low season due to injury, Nigeria's Super Eagles RKC Genk striker Paul Onuachu late on Tuesday night netted his 21st goal of the season against Sporting Charleroi, BSNsports.com.ng can report.

Onuachu broke all the records last season in the Jupiler League as he netted over 40 goals in all competition and coast home various awards.

He was instrumental to the Limburger win and was excited to have contributed his quotas in the game as he further shifted his focus to the Sunday match that could fetch them a Europa League ticket.

"I had to dive for that ball.

Koffi is a very good goalkeeper. He had already hit my two previous headers well so I knew I had to do something special to beat him.

So diving for the ball and then crossing was the only option to have a chance of a goal.

"I feel good, score again and now I have 21 goals. Not bad, right?

The goal is still to play European football and if we win against Ghent on Sunday, I think we will fight for a European ticket too" he concludes warily,' he said.
