Kano Pillars Unveil New Signings

As the commencement of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) draws near, Kano Pillars has unveiled their latest acquisitions, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

After his heroic performance at a pre-season tournament, prolific striker Aliyu Umar has officially joined Kano Pillars from Niger Tornadoes FC on a two-year contract.

Aliyu, who has been in sensational form, proudly received the match ball after netting a hat-trick against Cynosure FC where he finished as the top scorer of the pre-season tournament with four goals.

Also, former Akwa United midfielder, Olakunle Alaka has joined the Sai Masu Gida side on a two-year deal to bolster the squad ahead of the new season.

The Kano-based side, under the tutelage of Evans Ogenyi, is back at the Sani Abacha Stadium to fine-tune ahead of the 2025/26 NPFL season.
