Kanu: Super Falcons Mentally Prepared, Ready For 2023 Women's World Cup

Nigeria's Super Falcons forward Uchenna Kanu has said they are mentally prepared and ready for the 2023 Women's World Cup which will commence very soon in Australia and New Zealand, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Kanu was among the 23 players selected by the team head coach Randy Waldrum for the tournament slated to start on the 20th of July.

While speaking ahead of their departure the skilful attacker said they understand the task at hand and therefore they are battle ready.

"We’ve seen the group and it’s gonna be hard, but we are mentally prepared and moving forward. I think we have a good team. We’re gonna do great," she said.

The Super Falcons will tackle Canada, Australia and the Republic of Ireland in Group B of the competition.
